I’m Back! My Life Has Been Insane This Year
Okay, I’m finally getting some new content going. I know I have been promising this for months, but my life has been insane this year.
I’m going to be honest and say that the last 18 months of my life has been brutal. It seems like with every victory, I’ve been handed five defeats.
The largest issue in my life is that I continue to suffer emotional and cognitive after effects from my serious brush with death in May 2020. I have more answers in regards to what specifically is and isn’t wrong, but proving my incapacitation has been difficult.
I have to be very careful how I proceed for the next few months and what I write about. The thing I need to say right now for any interloper or spy is that I am not currently using this blog to make money. The ability to string a few sentences together is not evidence that I can work eight hours a day on a computer.
Right now, my fingers hurt so much that it seems like there is glue in the joints. I’m sitting up in my bed and typing on my laptop. I have an icepack on the back of my neck soothing a daily migraine. And too top it off, I suffered an ulcer on my eye two weeks ago, which may permanently impair my vision.
As far as what has happened emotionally, I don’t want to discuss it in detail. I want to just say one thing. I have been trying to get my long term disability insurance to provide benefits for nearly a year. Their decision (which is currently under appeal) nearly was the thing that made me want to end my life. The main reason was that I had active suicidal ideations and psychiatrists who had never examined or spoke with me determined I was “stable, and was not experiencing any active psychiatric symptoms.”
There are a few things I want to do to provide richer content on this blog. One includes YouTube videos that involves discussion of southern culture. I am reindexing older posts and moving things around.
